| The mission for Exclusive Travel Experiences is to be a complete advocate for the Professional Travel Advisor through the following activities.
The in-agency sales training, resort education, brochure fulfillment, Experience Our Resorts Program, Exclusive Amenity Program, and promoting the use of Travel Adviros on many cities radio airwaves are completely free to the Advisor, since Exclusive Travel Experiences is funded by their member resorts. This education, training, and equipping is performed in-agency, so that the advisor does not have to leave their office and miss an important phone call and the agency owner does not have to spend money to send their advisors out of town to receive sales training.
1) Exclusive Advisor Amenity Program: We desire all Advisors to be able to touch their clients during their clients stay at our member resorts, so we created a Program for Advisors to be able to send one complimentary amenity to their client from a choice of three amenities so that the Advisor can match, as closely as possible, their clients personal preferences in the amenity they choose to send their client. Additionally, the Advisor can send their client a personal note card that will be attached to this amenity, with any personal message they choose to write to their client. The advisor simply refers to our Agent Resources Page of this website chooses their amenity and types in the client information AND a personal message, that will be transcribing in handwriting on a note card and attached to the amenity the Advisor chooses to send their client! There are some Agency consortia that have negotiated a complimentary standard amenity with some of our member resorts. The Exclusive amenity has nothing to do with this program and is IN ADDITION TO the consortia standard amenity. It does not matter how you book one of our member resorts (GDS, online, wholesaler, direct, etc) and you can order one complimentary amenity for EVERY separate accommodation! Here again, our member resorts are choosing to Advocate the Travel Advisor. Enjoy!
2) Experience Our Resorts Program: Each of our resorts are committed to make this learning fun for travel advisors as well as tangibly wanting to support the agency community and desires to have every Advisor visit their resort for free. We found a great way to accomplish this. We asked each member resort to create a threshold in which if an advisor books room nights into the resort and they cross the resorts room night threshold, the Advisor is awarded a complimentary nights stay. We asked the resorts to set their thresholds low so that all advisor can gain complimentary room nights for themselves. If you would like more details on this program, simply email tom@etravele.com
3) Sales Training Equipping: We provide complimentary in-agency professional sales skills training to all Travel Advisors on how to proactively communicate to their clients in order to gain bookings through identifying their client's true needs. The most often result is gaining the sale quicker and more completely and gaining a referral from the client as a result of these efforts. Additionally, we introduce Experience Language to Advisors who currently do not speak this customer-focused language.
4) Commission Up Front Gift Certificate Program: All but one of our member resorts are able to offer you immediate commission on the package or room that you sell in Gift Certificate form. The commission is paid upon the sale of the Certificate and not, as the tradition, when the Certificate is redeemed! You MUST complete the form on our Certificates Webpage or email tom@etravele.com in order to qualify for this commission upfront. These certificates are identical to the traditional certificates that these resorts issue, but with one small distinction, they add the words "This certificate is net, non-commissionable" on them. The ETE Certificate Web page www.etravele.com/certificates/ or an email to tom@etravele.com is the key to each resort's Accounting Department's (in our participating resorts) knowing to pay you commission immedaitely upon the sale of the certificate! This program was borne, like all of our other programs, from an Advisor we met while visiting Agencies. Our member resorts are completely breaking tradition by offering you such a lucrative program to advocate you. Hopefully, this program will help you meet the needs of your leisure clients when they need to provide a gift but do not have dates for a trip or help you break into the huge corporate individualized incentive market. 5) Experiential Message Equipping: Since our members are all first place positioned resorts in their marketplace, we deliver experience messages and updates on each of the member resorts to the Travel Agency community so that the Advisors understand these experiences to be able to communicate these experiences fluently to their clients, thus making them expert resources in these resort experiences and being able to provide their clients with the latest offerings of these resort experiences.
6) Education Resources: We provide complimentary one page Experience Newsletters, on each member resort, designed to be a one focal point of reference resource for busy advisor who simply does not have the time to navigate through the many pages of a website or sort through the various brochures so that the advisor can be more fluent on our resort experiences.
7) Provide Specific Recreational Brochures: We assist the advisor in identifying specific clients that would be a good match for the individual resort experiences described, then equipping the advisor with complimentary, specific recreational or life style brochure resources that are congruent with their client's reasons for choosing a resort. All of our complimentary resources are available in paper form and most of our resources are available in electronic format, in which we can email them to you. Our goal is to equip the advisors we meet with the exact recreational driver information that is most important to their clients and have the advisor proactively send these brochures with a short personalized note to their client to surprise and delight their clients, acknowledging that they are aware of what motivates their client's choices and maintaining the "Expert Resource" mystique in their client's minds. When you "feed people" what THEY "eat" and not feature of a hotel or cruise, you dramatically incease the likelihood that the client will tell others about their recreational preference, often resulting in a 2 or 3 room reservation, increasing the Travel Advisor's commissions. This effort is just a small way on how we can assist the Advisor with their continued pro-active communication with their clients.
8) Web Marketing Resources: For the Advisor's own use as a web marketing tool, our resort Newsletters are located on the "Resorts" page of this website. They are available for viewing, printing and downloading (if you have Adobe Professional 6.0). Advisors are allowed to modify the contact information on these Newsletters by substituting their own contact information and emailing them to their clients if they use email in their marketing efforts to their clients, thus aligning themselves with these Number One Resort options for their clients. Additionally, we have Recreationally focused Word Documents on the "Resorts" page of our website for you to download, modify and use for flyers or email blasts.
9) Custom Communication Resources: Located on our Resort page, we have one page Word Documents that you can download and modify that speak to one specific pusrchase driver of your client. 'Feed" a golfer information about golf and watch them talk about this information to their golfing friends. Often times your client will want to get his/her friends together, providing you a 2-4 room sale! Additionally, the Collateral Form at the end of the Resort Page lists all of the recreation and lifestyle specific collateral that is available in both paper and electronic formats, for your continued pro-active, custom communication to your clients.
10) Promotion of Travel Advisor Usage: We perform key note addresses and radio talk shows geared towards the upscale and luxury tier traveler. The promotion of Travel Advisor usage is THE dominate theme in our communication in public venues.
The member resorts truly support the leisure travel advisor. They want to see the Advisor gain more referrals by the way they are able to service their existing clients more effectively and offer resources to gain new clients.
